What is Leisure Studies...?
Leisure Studies at Tilburg University is a unique education in the Netherlands at a universitary level. Its characteristics are the integrated, interdisciplinary and international approach to the subject of leisure. Integrated means that the education does not just focus on tourism, sports, culture or media, but connects these sectors from the perspective of  leisure. Both demand (the consumer) and supply (the companies and organizations in the leisure industry) are addressed. The education is interdisciplinary because it builds upon three basic disciplines: sociology, psychology and economy. The study is internationally oriented, since it does not only focus on developments in the Netherlands, but also in other countries.

What is Prioritijd…?
Prioritijd is the study association for students Leisure Studies and has over 200 members. By organizing activities in the field of leisure, Prioritijd aims at sharing knowledge and information regarding the sector with its members and promoting contact between students, staff, companies and organisations in the leisure industry. Prioritijd organizes many study-related activities, like excursions, conferences, company visits, studytrips and recreative activities as well, like parties, sociable drinks, dinners, introductioncamps for new students and many more.
